MORGAN AERO 8

Description

First new ground up design from Morgan since 1948, using an aluminium chassis and frame rather than the traditional wood frame. The orginal cars were rolled off the production line in 2001 with a 4.4litre BMW V8 which was upgraded in 2007, along with the crossed eye head lights look, to a 4.8 litre engine. Production ended in 2010.

Our Verdict

Only a british car manufacture would produce a car that looks like it has been kicked in the nuts. That said I for sure would love to own one, and early mark 4's are sort of cheap. The prices still appear to be age sensitive so it would suggest that they could drop some more, but who cares, just reveal in the eccentric looks and the blistering performance.
